Top journalists Paul Adom Otchere and Manasseh Azure Awuni have engaged in a media battle over the recent issues arising in relation to owner of Zoomlion, Joseph Siaw Agyepong.

Paul Adom Otchere held the assertion that Manasseh did not have to make claims in the media he did not have substantive evidence to back since it was not the mark of a good journalist.

He added that no professor of communication would vouch for Manasseh’s style of journalism. He implored Manasseh to uphold the fourth estate and not impugn his integrity as a top-notch journalist.

Speaking on Good Evening Ghana on Tuesday September 5, the ace TV show Host indicated that Manasseh had to take it down a notch with his reportage. He indicated that Manasseh did not have any evidence when he was asked to produce some.

Mr. Adom Otchere questioned the credibility of the Multimedia journalist and asked that he did due diligence so as not to ‘expose his cerebral weakness’.

Manasseh earlier questioned Paul Adom Otchere’s motive for sharing a GJA press release to media houses. In a Facebook post, the award-winning Multimedia journalist wrote, “Why is Paul Adom Otchere sending the GJA press statement to media houses? I know his closeness with Jospong, but not the GJA!

It was purportedly reported that Joseph Siaw Agyepong and Jospong Group of companies were awarded a contract to provide some 100,000 dustbins which was abandoned and was awarded an inflated contract to the tune of $72 million to provide some 1,000,000 dustbins to households in the country.
