Accra Great Olympics coach Tom Marcus Strand has been ordered by the Ghana Football Association Status Committee to pay GH¢34,000 to his former club Medeama SC.
According to the Committee, the Swedes has default his contractual agreement with the Tarkwa-based club.
The 38-year-old who went AWOL and resigned from Medeama SC in 2015 after their Confederations Cup exploits was accused by Medeama SC of breaching a contract with the club.
The Mauve’s therefore filed a case against him at the GFA Status Committee and Medeama SC won the case against Tom Strand today at GFA Player Status Committee sitting on Thursday.
Tom Strand, 34, was under contract with Mauves and Yellows but left his post whiles the team was in South Africa for a Confederations Cup game forcing Medeama to petition the GFA over the issue.
