Ghanaians are praising former president Jerry Rawlings and his wife, Nana Konadu, for their phenomenal dance moves at the 90th anniversary celebration of the Achimota secondary school in Accra.
"There's much history can and will both praise and condemn him for. But history can never ignore him," a Facebook user, Yaw Nsarkoh, said of Rawlings.
"President Rawlings is patriotic citizen of Ghana. He is fond of participation in most symbolic occasions in Ghana. I am wondering when his memoir is coming out. I think he deserves one as it would sell throughout the world, particularly Africa," Kwame Sarpong also wrote on Facebook.
The dance skills exhibited by Rawlings and Nana Konadu drew applause from the hundreds of people gathered at the event.
The praise quickly moved to social media when the pictures and video were shared online.
The ceremony was attended by several top dignitaries, including President Nana Akufo-Addo.
In 2011, Rawlings and his wife displayed similar dancing skills at the Legends and Legacy Ball which honoured legendary highlight singer, Daddy Lumba.
