Jaguar Land Rover has appointed Nick Rogers as its new Engineering Director. Judging from his personal Land Rover collection, we reckon he’s a good egg.
Rogers will be passed the baton from Dr Wolfgang Ziebart (who’s staying with the company) in April, and will assume responsibilities for JLR’s engineering operations globally.
LRO understands that Rogers has so far been responsible for the development of the next-generation Defender. We also gather that he keeps a number of Land Rovers at home, including a Range Rover Classic and a Series I. Clearly a man with taste, we’re pleased to say.
