But ‘The Special One’ refused to commit to staying at United beyond his current contract before reiterating he has no plans to see out his illustrious managerial career at Old Trafford.
Mourinho is 18 months into a three-year-deal that also has the option of a 12-month extension.
No talks have taken place between him and club bosses about extending the contract, despite Mourinho winning two trophies last season and launching a genuine title challenge this time round.
Speaking ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash against Benfica, Mourinho insisted he is relaxed about the situation, saying: “The answer is exactly this. Nothing is happening.
“One day I’m going to sign a five year contract and the next day you say I’m leaving and going to PSG.
“I’m not signing a new five year contract. I’m at Manchester United, I have a contract and that’s it.”
Asked if he would be tempted into to extending his stay at Old Trafford, Mourinho replied: “I don’t think there is an answer for that. I’m not in conditions to answer to that because there is nothing to answer.
“I’m not signing a new five-year contract, and I am not leaving for Paris St-Germain. I’m at Manchester United, I have a contract and that’s it.”
