Black Stars coach, Avram Grant has named his final 23-man squad to play at this year’s AFCON in Equatorial Guinea.
Coach Avram Grant axed Samuel Inkoom,Jeffrey Schlupp,Kwabena Adusei but saw a surprise recall of Mahatma Ottoo.
The Isrealee trainer handed debutants Frank Acheampong,David Accam,Kwasi Appiah,Mahatma Ottoo,Daniel Amartey,Baba Rahman the opportunity to excel at the continental showpiece.
Meanwhile, fatau Dauda and Asamoah Gyan remain the only goalkeeper and Striker respectively in the team to have featured at last AFCON hosted by South Africa.
Black Stars team is currently based in Spain where they will be camping until they move to Equatorial Guinea five days before the tournament.
Black Stars is in Group C and is pitted against Senegal,Algeria and South Africa.
