Ghana boss Avram Grant has named a 26-man provisional squad to camp in Spain.
The squad is for the pre-tournament camping ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations that starts in just over a fortnight. Team Ghana leave Accra for Seville before travelling to Equatorial Guinea on January 14.
Five players have been dropped from the initial 31-man team named on Christmas Eve.
Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams, Enoch Adu Kofi, Alfred Duncan and Albert Adomah have also failed to make the team while Mahatma Otoo and Ebenezer Assifuah - both invited late were not considered.
The injury situation of Turkey-based striker Abdul Majeed Waris is being monitored.
