Emmanuel Frimpong returned from serving his red card ban to play the entirety of Barnsley's 2-2 away draw with Doncaster Rovers at Keepmoat Stadium. Albert Adomah played the entire game as Middlesbrough lost 0-1 away at Watford at Vicarage Road.

Shadrach Eghan played 65 minutes as FC Twente beat Christian Atsu's (90 minutes) Vitesse Arnhem 2-0 at home. Kwame Quansah watched the entire game from the bench as his side Heracles Almelo lose 2-1 to PSV.

Elvis Manu played full time for Cambuur who thrashed PEC Zwolle 3-1. Fred Benson was not in the Zwolle squad. Jeff Sarpong played 86 minutes for NAC Breda who drew 1-1 with Feyernoord.

In the Pro League, Bennard Yao Kumordzi played the entire game as Genk recorded a 1-0 away win over Lierse. Nana Akwasi Asare played 90 minutes for Gent who drew 1-1 with Lokren. Youngster Eugene Ansah was on the Lokren bench.

Moustapha Quaynor played the entire game as Alki lost 1-2 at home to APOEL Nicosia.

GERMANY

Kevin-Prince Boateng saw full action as Schalke went away to beat Leverkusen 2-1 at the Bay Arena. Anthony Annan appeared on the Schalke bench for the first time this season. In-form left back Abdul Baba Rahman lasted the entire game for Greuther Furth who drew 1-1 with Karlsruher. Tony Baffoe’s nephew Reinhold Yabo also played 90 minutes and scored.

Phil Ofosu-Ayeh played the entire game as MSV Duisburg beat Rot Weiss Erfurt 3-2 at home.

Samuel Inkoom (72 minutes) and Aziz Tetteh (90 minutes) both played in Platanias' 2-4 away loss to Olympiakos Piraeus. Arago Jamal was not in the Atromitos team in their 1-0 loss to Levdiakos.

Kwadwo Asamoah netted a screamer in the 17th minute and lasted full time as leaders Juventus bat Chievo Verona 3-1. Sulley Muntari came on in the 63rd minute as Milan beat Bologna by a lone goal. Michael Essien was an unused substitute.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu played full time and assisted Dusan Basta's goal as Udinese drew 3-3 with Genoa. Isaac Cofie was on the Genoa bench. Afriyie Acquah played 68 minutes for Parma who thrashed Atalanta 4-0 away.

Raman Chibsah was introduced in the 68th minute as bottom-placed Sassuolo lost 2-0 to Napoli. Alfred Duncan played 71 minutes for Livorno who beat Cagliari 2-1. Masahudu Alhassan played the entire game as Latina beat Cittadella 1-0 at home.

Maxwell Boadu-Acosty played 67 minutes for Carpri who drew 1-1 with Empoli. Amidu Salifu played 90 minutes for Modena who beat Bari 4-0.

Fatau Dauda finally made his full competitive debut for Orlando Pirates, and conceded a goal as his side lost 0-1 away at Bay United (Polokwane City). John Arwuah played 82 minutes as AmaZulu lost 0-1 at home to Wits University (Bidvest Wits).

Ebenezer Assifuah-Inkoom played 51 minutes, Ishmael Yartey came on in the 74th minute as FC Sion lost 0-1 away to leaders Basel.

Harrison Afful scored the first goal as leaders Esperance de Tunis went away to beat Stade Tunisien 2-0.
