Black Stars Squad For 2015 AFCON

The Africa Cup Of Nations known as AFCON is just around the corner and the Black Star team has announced its players for the tournament. The Black Stars begin theirs from 19th January 2015 against Senegal.

A 23 man squad which has three goalkeepers including Razak Braimah (Mirandes, Spain), Fatau Dauda (AshGold, Ghana) and Ernest Sowah (Don Bosco, DR Congo). Fatau Dauda is the only local team goal keeper.

The 6 defedners include Harrison Afful (Esperance, Tunisia), John Boye (Erciyesspor, Turkey), Jonathan Mensah (Evian, France), Mohammed Awal (Maritzburg, South Africa), Baba Rahman (Augsburg, Germany), Edwin Gyimah (Mpumalanga Black Aces, South Africa), Daniel Amartey (Copenhagen, Denmark).

And 9 midfielders which has Mohammed Rabiu (Krasnodar, Russia), Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu (Udinese, Italy), Afriyie Acquah (Parma, Italy), Solomon Asante (T.P. Mazembe, DR Congo), Christian Atsu (Everton, England), Mubarak Wakaso (Celtic, Scotland), Andre Ayew (Olympique Marseille, France), Frank Acheampong (Anderlecht, Belgium), David Accam (Chicago Fire, USA.

And 4 strikers on board with the likes of Jordan Ayew (Lorient, France), Mahatma Otoo (Songdal, Norway) Asamoah Gyan (Al Ain, UAE), Kwesi Appiah (Cambridge United, England)
